We want you to know how excited
we are to have you interested in our church family as we strive to worship and serve Christ together.
In our attempt to respond to Gods love and calling, our church home gathers in a variety of ways. We invite you to become actively involved as we endeavor to make a difference a Christian difference in a hurting world.
The following are just some of our groups that serve in these efforts:
Congregation Council the elected leadership for our church family. The Congregation Council has general oversight of the life and activities of this congregation, and in particular its worship life, to the end that everything is done in accordance with the Word of God and the faith and practice of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
Boards our six Boards consist of Fellowship, Properties, Social Ministry, Spiritual Growth, Stewardship, and Worship & Witness. Six members serve on each Board and a Council Member serves as Board Chairperson.
Adult Choirs
The Praise Team meets for practices weekly from 7:00-8:00pm on Wednesdays and sings on Sundays at the 11:00am worship service.
The Inspiration Choir practices at 7:30am on Sunday mornings from September through May and sings on Sundays at the 8:30am worship service.
The Mens Choir is a group of men who meet for rehearsals on Wednesday nights and periodically performs at worship services and other special events.
The choirs combine with additional congregation voices for a yearly Christmas Cantata. All choirs offer a wide variety of music to enrich our worship services in praise of God.

a Sunday Adult Forum discussion from 9:45-10:45am that includes a variety of topics and presentations
other short-term classes are offered periodically throughout the year
Youth Education
Sunday School for ages 3 through 12th grades offered from September through May.
Vacation Bible School for ages 3 through 6th grade offered one week during the summer.
Affirmation Classes are an educational ministry of our church that helps baptized young people identify more deeply with the Christian faith and community and participate more fully in its mission. It is a two-year program, normally for 7th & 8th graders.
Bellevue Food Pantry located on our church grounds, the Pantry provides opportunities for service to Bellevue as our members and community volunteers participate in collecting food, stocking the shelves, and bagging the food for distribution.
GriefShare is a special weekly Christ centered seminar and support group for people who are grieving the death of someone close to them. At GriefShare, you will learn valuable information about recovering form your grief and renewing hope for the future. The thirteen-week seminars are offered twice a year (January and August). Please contact the church office for start dates.
Health Ministry is a living witness of the healing activity of God by encouraging whole-person health through: the integration of body, mind, and spirit; increased self-knowledge; personal responsibility; and interdependence among God's people. Our Health Ministry Committee is comprised of five nurses volunteering their time and talents.
Quilting Group meets monthly to tie, pin, and complete quilts for Lutheran World Relief. Everyone is invited to participate in this outreach ministry.
Stephen Ministry trained Stephen Leaders, lay and pastoral, oversee our local program participation. Stephen Ministers, who are trained lay caregivers, are available to provide one-to-one Christian care to individuals requesting a caregiver. Individuals in need of someone to talk to while facing a difficult life challenge are welcome to contact one of our Stephen Leaders for referral to a Stephen Minister. All care is provided on a discrete, confidential, and Christian basis.
Craft Day on the 4th Thursday of the month this group meets at 9:30am until noon. Individuals bring their own projects to work on (e.g. counted cross-stitch, quilting, crocheting). Ideas and know-how are shared.
Book Club this group of readers meets the 4th Thursday of each month at noon to share what each individual has read since the last meeting. Participants may bring their lunch.
Adult Sports Teams seasonal softball and volleyball teams participate in local league play and provide fun and fellowship opportunities.
Toddlers Together a group of parents and toddlers who gather on Wednesday mornings for one hour of playtime, socializing, crafts, story time, and snacks.
Youth Groups our youth ministry offers opportunities for fun, fellowship, and service throughout the year for all youth through Senior High.
